Bought an Uber Eats gift card on TopGift? Your code is on the order confirmation page and in your TopGift account. This guide shows how to add it in the Uber Eats app or the Uber app. It takes about a minute, and the balance works for both food orders and rides.

Before You Start

• Check the currency. Uber gift cards work only in countries that use the currency the card was issued in. A UK card in GBP works on a UK account, while a Spain or Belgium card in EUR works in euro countries.
• Update the app. Install the latest version of Uber Eats or Uber before you start.
• Copy the code. Open your TopGift account, find the order and copy the code. Enter it without spaces.

How to Redeem in the Uber Eats App

1. Open the Uber Eats app and tap the Account icon.
2. Select Wallet.
3. Tap Add Payment Method.
4. Choose Gift Card.
5. Enter your gift code without spaces.
6. Tap Add. The amount is added to your Uber balance right away.

How to Redeem in the Uber App

1. Open the Uber app, tap the menu and select Wallet.
2. Tap Add Payment Method, then Gift Card.
3. Enter the code and tap Add.

It doesn’t matter which app you use. The balance is shared, so you can spend it on Uber Eats orders and Uber rides.

How to Pay With Your Balance

At checkout, open the payment options and select your Uber balance. You can also turn on the toggle that uses the balance first, so it’s applied to every order automatically. Anything left over stays in your account for the next order.

Common Problems

• “Invalid code”. Check that you entered the code without spaces and that letters like O and 0 are correct.
• Card doesn’t work in your country. The card currency must match the country where you use Uber. A GBP card won’t work on an account used in Spain.
• Balance not used at checkout. Select the balance manually in payment options. Some services, such as scheduled trips or grocery orders, may not accept gift card balance in your country.
• “Code already redeemed”. Contact us with your order number and we’ll check it with the supplier.

FAQ

Can I add more than one gift card?

Yes. You can add several gift cards to the same account, and the amounts add up.

Can I move the balance to another account?

No. Once the code is redeemed, the balance stays on that Uber account and can’t be transferred.
