A declined payment means your bank or payment provider stopped the transaction before it reached us. TopGift can’t see the exact reason, but in most cases it’s one of the issues below and easy to fix.
Check These First
- Enough balance. The amount must cover the order and the processing fee.
- Online and international payments enabled. Turn them on in your banking app or ask your bank.
- Correct details. Re-check the card number, expiry date and CVV.
- 3D Secure. Confirm the payment in your banking app or with the SMS code. If you don’t, the bank declines it.
- Card limits. Your card may have a daily limit for online spending.
Still Declined?
- Call your bank and ask them to allow the payment to TopGift.
- Try another card or payment method, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. See payment methods.
- Turn off VPN or proxy software during the payment.
Was the Money Taken?
No. Even if your bank shows the amount as reserved, it’s a temporary hold. It’s released automatically, usually within a few business days, depending on your bank.
